Ancient Glass Beads
A collection of glass beads, most of them datable to the Islamic Era. Offers will be considered for the assortment of thirty beads as a lot.
Condition: one side is depressed and rugged, although after careful inspection it looks more due to a manufacture flaw than an accident.
Size: 27 mm (hole to hole) x 24,5 mm (diameter).
Condition: good, except for a couple of chips, one of them very small, the other with some loss. One of the yellow eyes is also slightly damaged. See images.
Size: 27 mm (hole to hole) x 28,5 mm (diameter).
The two pics of lighter blue color are truer than the greener ones.
Condition: fair. There are two yellow spots where apparently the loss of the blue coating is baring the different coloured glass underlying it (or is it rather a kind of repair?).
Size: 13 mm (hole to hole) x 19 mm (diameter), measured excluding the eyes.
Condition: what appears to be an old crack from hole to hole on both sides of the bead, but the body of the bead feels sound. See images.
Size: 16 mm (hole to hole) x 20,5 mm (diameter).
