Jewelry - Necklaces

Strung ancient, antique and ethnic beads and elements.

A necklace made of ancient carnelian beads. The roundish beads are of the kind reportedly coming from a neolithic culture that flourished in Mali (as informed by M-F. Delarozière in "Perles d'Afrique"). The three larger central beads were -- judging by their shapes and manufacture -- brought from India many centuries ago. The strand is further enriched with some  Indian gold beads.
